Shotgun Spread

This dip is proof of Shotgun Spread’s amazing versatility in your kitchen. It oozes with a generous combination of provolone and parmesan.

Instructions

Grab your cast-iron skillet, folks—this isn't your average pizza dip. We're firing up dough balls kissed with pepper-infused butter and a center filled with flavors that'll remind you of the best slice of pizza you've ever had. Perfect for game day, your next tailgate, or a laid-back weekend.

  1. Fire Up the Microwave: Toss that butter and red pepper flakes into a bowl, cover, and nuke until the butter's liquid gold.

  2. Roll 'Em Up: Snag those dinner rolls and break 'em into thirds. Roll each piece into a ball, like you're getting ready to knock pins down at the alley.

  3. Dunk and Lay: Take each dough ball for a swim in your melted butter mix. Then, line 'em up on the edge of your trusty 10-inch cast-iron. Keep the middle empty; that's where the magic happens later.

  4. Patience, Grasshopper: Cover your setup and let those balls puff up—about 30 minutes.

  5. Get That Oven Hot: Crank your oven up to 400°F. We're not messing around here.

  6. First Round: Pop the skillet in the oven. Bake until those dough balls look like they've got a good tan, about 15-18 minutes.

  7. Mix the Good Stuff: While that's happening, stir together your cream cheese and J's Shotgun Spread. Get it nice and combined.

  8. Skillet Time: Spoon your cream cheese heaven into the skillet's empty circle. Layer with pizza sauce and throw on some pepperoni or whatever you love.

  9. Finishing Touch: Grab any remaining butter mix, give those dough balls a nice brush, and hit 'em with a sprinkle of Parm.

  10. Last Lap: Back in the oven it goes. Ten more minutes or until that middle's hot and gooey and the dough's gone full golden.

  11. Final Flourish: Rip up some fresh basil and give your masterpiece a proper crowning.

There you have it. Serve this bad boy up at your next backyard bash and watch it disappear. Ready for the next one?
